Since June 2021, Sarens has been making significant strides in Tanzania, marking its presence with the inauguration of facilities in the country in January 2022. Initially testing the waters, the company swiftly transitioned to becoming a key player in the region's industrial landscape, offering a wide array of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the local market.

Through our in-depth market analysis, Sarens was able to establish itself as a versatile service provider, offering comprehensive solutions in the heavy lift and specialised transport industry. Collaborating with Raphael Logistics, Sarens serves as a one-stop solution provider, with services such as port handling, logistics, warehousing, lifting material, cranes, and transport services in our arsenal.

Our Equipment: Sarens in Tanzania is equipped with an impressive fleet, including material handling equipment, lowbed and tri-axle trailers to specialised SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter), jacking/skidding equipment, and mobile cranes ranging from 25-150T. This equipment can safely and efficiently address the needs of diverse market segments in Tanzania. In late 2023, Sarens further invested in Tanzania and brought in five destuffing forklifts and two mobile cranes up to 150T capacity.

Driving Projects Forward: Sarens in Tanzania is actively engaged in the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Station project, providing engineering expertise and specialised transport solutions. Recently, Sarens successfully executed the installation of 27 transformers using our specialised jacking and skidding equipment from Enerpac. Additionally, Sarens serves various clients in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Civil sectors, facilitating project execution through our rental services.
