Sarens signed the largest project in its history with Tengizchevroil (TCO) back in 2016. As part of the project, Sarens was responsible for the land transportation and installation of the Pre-Assembled Units, Pre-Assembled Racks, and associated oversize equipment required for TCO’s US$ 36.8 bn Future Growth and Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP).
This October, the team achieved one of the most significant milestones of delivering the last Pre-Assembled Unit across the quay at CaTRo. Sarens SPMTs helped load-in PAU 47.M262.C at CaTRo. The SPMTs because of their limited height and ease to reconfigure were effectively able to execute the load-in and load-out. Almost all the SPMTs deployed for this project are brand new and were delivered directly from the factory.
This module is the last to be delivered to Kazakhstan and marks the completion of the FGP Module Delivery Program within the planned duration. Despite the challenges faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, the team was able to honour the timelines with zero incidents and accidents.
