For seventh consecutive year, Sarens has been ranked #2 in the IC50 rankings. For 22 years, International Cranes and Specialized Transport Magazine has been releasing the IC50 rankings of the world's largest crane-owning companies. The crane-owning companies are ranked by their IC Index value. This figure is obtained by adding together the maximum load moment rating, in tonne-metres, of all wheeled mobile, crawler, and super heavy lift lattice boom cranes in the fleet.
Despite the fact that the international markets saw an economic downturn in 2016, Sarens continuously evolved its fleet of cranes to suit the needs of the clients. There are some major projects coming up for Sarens in the coming months which will further strengthen our position in the global markets.
Sarens President and Board Chairman, Ludo Sarens, remarks: "The fact that we are #2 has not been a goal on its own; it is the result of a continued effort to follow our clients and markets and to make sure we have the adequate equipment to serve them in all the countries we operate."
